  • meet the job requirements for that skilled trade as set out in the NOC, except for needing a certificate of qualification<\/li>\n
  • have a valid\u00a0<\/span>job offer of full-time employment<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>for a\u00a0<\/span>total period of at least 1\u00a0year<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>or<\/strong>\n

      If you want to come to Canada under the Federal Skilled Trades Program, your first step if to submit your profile to the Express Entry pool. If you are eligible, you will be placed in a pool with others eligible skilled workers and will be ranked using several factors. The highest ranked applicants in the Express Entry pool are invited to apply for permanent residence.
