Consulting Services
Diversity and Inclusion
We offer programs designed to optimize the most valuable assets of your company – your people. We take a data-driven, sustainable and holistic approach to tackling issues such as equality and inclusion in the workplace.
How do we work?
In order to tailor a program best aligned with the needs, long-term goals and objectives of your company we follow a three step process:
1. Inclusive Climate and Assessment Audit
2. Consulting and advising
3. Education and training
Step 1: Inclusive Climate and Assessment Audit
The first step is a thorough analysis and evaluation of your company’s current working environment and policies, using a set of KPIs (knowledge performance indicators) created by the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion. We look at factors that truly impact inclusion, diversity and equality for the organization, employees, and the people they serve. This allows us to pinpoint the underlying issues.
Step 2: Consulting and Advising
We compile our findings into a clear report for your analysis, taking the time to meet and discuss what the results mean. We then walk you through a proposal of appropriate solutions complete with an action plan. The detailed proposal will provide data-driven, sustainable, and effective recommendations to optimize organizational impact. We review formal and informal policies and procedures for vulnerability to bias leakage. Regardless of the solution you choose, and whether you continue your change process with us, we are available for consultation.
Step 3: Education and Training
The final stage of our process is ongoing – it requires the implementation of solutions. The exact approach differs from client to client and may include:
- e-learning and other forms of online training
- employee workshops, lunch and learns, seminars, surveys, one-on-ones with management
- specialized management training, train-the-trainer programs where leaders in your organization are trained on how to deliver D&I* workshops
Our ultimate goal is to equip members of the organization with the tools, insight, knowledge and understanding to promote true equity, deep diversity and full inclusion. Content and learning process are fully responsive to the complex body of evidence on what works, what doesn’t and what makes things worse. We track progress over extended periods of time, suggesting changes when necessary. We prioritize transparency and accountability at all levels of the organization.
We also provide “clean-up” training for organizations that have had unexpected negative outcomes from prior training approaches.
