Who Qualifies

Individual who have skilled work experience in 1 of these National Occupational Classification (NOC) job groups:

– Managerial jobs (skill type 0) 

– Professional jobs (skill level A)

– Technical jobs and skilled trades (skill level B)

What experience counts

Your skilled work experience must be in the same type of job as the one on your immigration application. It must be within the last 10 years. It must have been paid work (salary and commission). You must have worked for at least 1 year continuously or 1560 hours in total

If you want to come to Canada as a skilled worker, your first step if to submit your profile to the Express Entry pool. If you are eligible, you will be placed in a pool with others eligible skilled workers and will be ranked using several factors. The highest ranked applicants in the Express Entry pool are invited to apply for permanent residence.
